This is gonna be a post combining two outings with my fellow course-mates!! We need a little chilling after the mid term tests and assignments, therefore decided to give ourselves a nice treat.

I actually don't know how to categorize this restaurant, haha. It has Japanese cuisine as well as Western food too. The price range is friendly and reasonable.

Next time I should try spreading some black sesame on top of my rice at home too. My friend told me that Japanese eat the rice with spreading some seasoning kind of thing into the bowl and pour in hot water. He said it is very nice and won't be like porridge. It suits me best since everything is instant yet yummy. Listened to his Japan Homestay's stories made me feel like visiting Japan one day.

The second part is a little reunion dinner for us for Lunar New Year and also a mini celebration after our presentation.

Lou Sang is a must!!! We actually just enjoyed playing with the food, lou as high as possible. In the end, I forgot to shout HUAT ahhh =.= There were only 4 tables of patrons including us. The other 3 tables turned and went quiet when we lifted our glasses and shouted YUM SENG!! A bit shy and embarrass.

Deep fried sweet and sour pork with ice on top of it, very fresh to me. I only tasted a piece of it, hmmm nothing special.

The Viral Factor

I waited for this movie for quite sometime ever since I knew the movie took scenes mainly at Kuala Lumpur. Before watching it, I'd read blog and saw pictures of the shooting scenes. You should know why I waited for this movie, hehe. However, this is the first time I am stepping into the cinema to watch his movie.

Don't drink water before a movie else you gonna miss the beginning of the movie just like I did. @.@ The first scene I saw was Jay lying on the bed after the operation. I didn't get to watch how he was shot. Look at the picture, Proton Saga and the typical school bus of Malaysia in the movie. Somehow I think the scene at Pavilion wasn't thrilling but the scene driving and diving down from first floor, yes.

Forever I am so lucky to have kids or striker sitting behind me in the cinema. You know one soccer match wouldn't have so many goal therefore they won't kick so many times too. BUT...One drumming kick is enough to drive me crazy to turn and stare but that fella didn't get my message. Aduh! Maybe I should get a last row's seat next time.

Watching Jay and Nicholas in the movie but I can heard some Bahasa Malaysia in the movie, kinda amused me. Normally the movies we watch either speak in Mandarin or English or dialect like Cantonese or Hokkien. For some other movies we might heard some other languages which we don't understand and hardly BM can be heard in foreign movie. I can't help to laugh when each and every time the local spoke BM in the movie regardless what character.

I don't understand his hair style in this movie. The hair style with curly fringe and funny tail. I have to admit he is good in acting and he is handsome too. XD

I don't care, I am gonna say HE IS HANDSOME AND STYLO. Hmm...He has tan skin, rounder face and body, mustache as usual which I don't really agree to. Does he need such long sideburns??

I don't know who is she but quite pretty. She acted as a doctor in this movie.

Protagonists normally don't die easily or won't die in a movie but a calefare or a security guard will be lying dead after a shot. After all, this is just a movie. haha

If you watched last year's 988's production movie, Great Day, for sure you know this little cute girl.

She acted as Nicholas Tse's daughter, Man Cheung Seng.

HAPPY DRAGON YEAR !!!

Finally Lunar Chinese new year is here and I could wear all my new purchase :) I like any apparels with stripes and this year especially bought checkered tops, I like. Somehow it lacks of my lucky colour for this year. Colorful wardrobe is my love.

Sit down and eat a lot of cookies without feeling sinful. Mama baked this blackcurrant cookies with coconut shred! Remember to drink a lot of water after eating all these heaty food.

Lou Sang seems to be a must for CNY!! Get ready with your chopsticks and pull those food in the plate as high as possible meanwhile speaking some good words. It's normal to see your table ends up in a mess, quite wasting. Don't forget to shout HUAT ahhh...

Oh yeah, thanks jiejie for buying this one big box of Snoopy goodies bag for me. I am not a kid but still happy to receive it like a kid. ^^

Lastly, I am here to wish you Happy New Year to you and your family. Wish you good health and prosperity in this water dragon year! HUAT ahhhhhh =D I wish this could be a better year!!

Potluck is fun!

I ain't living at the seaside. I don't have the time to enjoy the breeze, the sunlight and walk on the beach with bare feet. Another reason is I am #foreveralone =.=

Finally, friend invited me to the pot luck picnic at Klebang beach, Melaka. To have friend to invite you to outing is always so much warmer than friends that forget you and leave you out, isn't it? #heartwarmed

Let's have a gathering before CNY!! Each of us has to prepare some food or beverages for the pot luck. My friend and I prepared egg mayo sandwich and egg toasts. I know both of them are pretty common dish but my favourite. We actually worried that they won't like it, somehow we were wrong.

If only you could spot the Gardenia bread plastic wrapper, it contains the egg mayo sandwich. Too bad, couldn't show you here. We have fried nuggets, sausages, curry puffs, siew pao and of course, not forgetting longan jelly and watermelon as mouth-washer. =) One of them brought red wine, that's cool.

Close up look of the egg toasts. It's better to eat it while it's hot :) Opened the container and they said, wow long time didn't eat this!! I must repeat, I seriously afraid that they won't like it and I need to bring the toasts back. #relief

It's JAY CHOU's birthday!!

18th January

So, I am gonna blog about his new released music album.

I know this album was released 2 months back but I just got it in hand few days ago. My sis bought it for me from Taiwan at a price cheaper by almost RM20. That's a lot!! The theme of this album is sailor!! He is trying to act cute, isn't he?

Even the disc look so fancy, nice nice!!

Show to the pages of the lyrics booklet which I like the most. The whole album is totally cute, no other word can describe it best. Besides that, it's so colourful unlike his previous albums design mainly in dark colours.

He has his initial 'J' transformed into an achor, quite nice =)

''Since young, I've loved watching Singapore productions." - quoted from the movie. This applies on me, I knew all the showtime on Channel 8 and always waited in front of the TV before my series started. I love to watch movie from Channel 5 and cartoons from kids central. Later on, Channel U established which actually benefits drama fans like me. I enjoyed watching the movie because of all those familiar faces which I saw them on TV.

Michelle Chong acted as Ah Jiao or Zann in the movie, a girl from Yong Peng whose dream is to become a celebrity in Singapore's showbiz. There's one thing I must clarify, not all Malaysian speak terrible Mandarin like how she presented in the movie. We are influenced by the multiple dialects around us, therefore our Mandarin or accent might be a bit different.

Alien Huang!! He is the male lead of this movie who didn't really appear that much, Orz. He doesn't look trendy in this movie with that outfit but still look handsome and cute. He acted as Ah Seng, a worker at kopitiam but he claimed himself as Christopher.

I miss out the chance to see them while they were promoting this movie in JayBee. My bro actually went and didn't take the ang pow with their pictures print on it!! I WANT!!

Kumar cameo in this movie too, very amusing. That two fella in white (dunno their names) are acting so gay in the movie, ewww. We had the urge to crawl into the big screen to punch the two of them. LOL

Ah Jiao went through many steps or obstacles and she did it!! She remains as a TV promoter in the end.

OK this movie is basically to realise Michelle's dream to act in a movie and also direct it. Errrmmm...applause!! I just simply couldn't stop laughing in the cinema, it's nice :)

Korean cuisine

I actually wanted to bring my friends to one restaurant with theme at Sunway Pyramid but failed to locate it. Somehow we think the cafe/restaurant has ceased its business so changed our makan place to Korean cuisine stall at Asian Avenue.

Korean stone bowl mixed rice or call in Bibimbap in Korean. You need to stir everything together before you eat.

This is just a random shot on the side dish - kimchi. Order a set meal then you will be given kimchi and Korean egg soup as side dishes.

Korean spicy rice cake or ddeokboggi is one of the famous Korean street food that you can find in Korea. I LOVE IT!! By judging only its name you should know it's spicy and I am not kidding. Some of my friends don't really like the chewy rice cake but of course some couldn't stand the spiciness. You should really try it if you never had it before.

Korean kimbap is similar to the common Japanese sushi roll that we used to see in Japanese cuisine restaurant but just that this one is in a slightly bigger size.

You would have free flow of Korean tea after paying for first cup of the tea. It's only RM2 if I did not remember it wrongly. So, no worries of the spiciness, just eat and perspire like a boss! The environment of the stall is quite nice and well decorated with posters. They do play Kpop at the stall to make you feel like in Korea, isn't that awesome? You may order food from the opposite stall - Shihlin if you are ordering something from them. At least we did and they didn't tell us off so I think should be alright.

Waiting outside the lift and it is always full when the lift door opened #hopeless. There's too many people checking out the hotel room at the same time so the lift is full all the time, what's more we were staying at the highest floor. I was forced to take the stairs from 28th floor to 21st floor, finally squeezed into the lift then went up to 26th again before I actually reached ground floor. A roughly 1 minute's trip took me more than 30 minutes, that's crappy.

See our happy faces!! We can't wait for the shopping spree down town. #successkid

Since the road go down town has some distance, why not grab the chance to do something silly in the car!!

Filled up our stomachs at Sweet Chat before we started the purchasing war. We spent approximately 7 hours in the same shopping mall, from day to night. My legs were not mine on that night, so sore. I ate a lot during the late dinner since steamed fish's served. :) Had a small chat with my dear old friends on that night.

Next morning, we had our breakfast at Ficelle Boulangerie Patisserie. I was really so happy to see so many nice breads right in front of me. I love pastry!

You may ask them to heat up the breads for you if you prefer to eat it hot :)

It's not easy for the three of us to meet up and have meal like we used to do it during those days. FYI, we have a theme song in karaoke room, hahaha.

I enjoyed the short getaway with them and I want more in the future! Travel within country can be fun too. I did shopping and bought few pieces of apparel which I am really satisfied with. However, my wardrobe is forever lack of one piece garment so imma continue searching for it and own it. haha

New Year's eve

I'd watched this movie a couple weeks ago in the cinema. This movie is nice though I can't remember the story of the movie but It's nice. Hmmm watching the movie without knowing any of the celebrities starring in the movie. LOL

OK, I spent the last day of year 2011 with my girls at Genting. That's our first meal - sweet potato. Sitting at outdoor and eating the hot sweet potato were great!! The forgetful me forgotten to bring jacket or cardigan to Genting, that's bravo!!

Luckily I have brought extra pieces of clothes and thanks friend for borrowing me her shawl =) Somehow the weather kept changing, with or without breeze, does matter. I ate a lot for dinner due to the cold weather, OK lah, I know that's a lame excuse cannot be applied on me. hahaha

The crowd at outdoor theme park for countdown fireworks was comparable to any concert. However, the management disappointed the crowd on the very first second of year 2012. We were told that the fireworks presentation was postponed to the next day's 8pm.

A new year is coming so it's time to close blog entries for year 2011. Let's see what have I done for the year, shall list out a few significant events. I myself couldn't remember much so I looked back my blog archive from January to December. Gonna show pictures of the year which I think are nice. It's only a year but I got so shock by looking at my hair style in those photos. HAHAHA

My first flying experience alone was exciting.

I started my internship which also my first job in life. First working experience as an office lady.

6 months passed and again back to my campus life.

Got influenced by my colleagues and we were so enthusiastic in baking cup cakes after office hours. Only these two flavors that I baked are acceptable. Still have long way to go! I am so keen in learning baking =D

As a big fan of Jay Chou, I went to a Jay's themed cafe - Jacky's Dessert. The wall is full with Jay's posters.

Listening to Ask Yang singing live is an enjoyment. He has a nice voice. In addition, he has very fit body figure. heehee

The best and happiest event for year 2011 is to have her joining as my family member. She brings so much joy to us :) I love how she concentrates on my hand when I move my fingers like a star while singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star for her. I love how she sticks so closely to me when I carry her. I LOVE HER SMILE =) Seriously, her smile and laugh could melt my heart. She is so cute and I love her ^^ Please grow up healthily.

Mission Impossible 4 : Ghost Protocol

Deng...deng...deng...deng~~ All I know about mission impossible is its theme song. I can't remember did I watch the previous 3 parts of mission impossible, cannot recall any memory for that. I don't know any cast of the movie and I just walked into the cinema and sat down to watch.

TOM CRUISE !!! He is still so handsome even though he has aged but mature men are more charming, right?

This car is like so cool !!! Heroes or agents' cars always so extraordinary.

Climbing this tower at Dubai made me so nervous and I wow when he jumped into the room again. Action movie is not suitable for those with heart's problems.

The gloves thing is very creative but they might have to work on the battery life again. The battery exhausted like so fast. XD

Sand storm !!

contract killer. No idea who she is but she has style!

This movie is nice, some parts are amusing and some parts are really thrilling. I actually like how they pretend to be the traders to negotiate the terms and conditions with the contract killer.

It was the night that we celebrated the cat woman - Audrey's birthday at Tang Shifu. The initial plan was to go the other restaurant but plan changed due to the long line waiting to dine there. Majority were sick so here we are.

Christmas is near and we were embraced by the festive atmosphere...Snowy snowy mood is here even though Malaysia does not have four seasons.

Lastly we ended the day at Karaoke room, sang out loud to blast ~~ She was the second classmate that I got to know her on the first day of lecture during foundation studies. She was sitting on my left, next to me. Hmmm this girl is forever friendly and smiling. LOL Happy Birthday once again!!

In Time With You

Do you have a best friend who is the opposite gender of yours? Will he/she be the first person you would want to share your joy and sadness to? Do you love him/her?

Oh great, this Taiwanese drama - In Time With You is really nice, so different from the rest. The story line is very fresh yet logical and happening. It's about a boy and a girl who were high school classmates. Initially, they were like enemies since the girl was class monitor and the boy was the assistant monitor. They had a lot of voting in the class. Somehow the boy secretly loves the girl without her knowledge.

He went to the same university with her and same course as well. Secretly getting close to her and eventually they became each other best friend. Always and always he did his best to protect the girl and be there for her. The girl actually love the boy but she thought the boy does not because he once said, ''I might not love you''.

His every girlfriend broke up with him because they can't tolerate his best friend. They see each other's partner like a thorn in the eye. haha

My first flying experience gave it to China Airlines and flew from Changi Airport too. I remember the flight attendants are quite pretty and friendly. I guess only this airline would make announcement in Taiwanese (or Hokkien we said). The movie on board was Pink Panther and my friend was laughing so hard.

So do you think man and woman can be just friends? Majority of the women would answer yes but men would answer no. There must be something if a guy treats a girl especially good, isn't it? My answer is yes too!! A gentleman is someone who will treat everyone good. For example, a guy would hold a door for girls not only for the girl he likes, am I right? It's impossible he sees female friend coming then he bangs the door right on her face. Somehow I must declare that such guys do exist on earth. hahahaha Sad case.

I like her pyjamas, so fashionable!! =)

The soundtrack of this drama is nice too, blend well with the drama. Listen to them and you will agree with me.

This drama has a happy ending!! Look around and see whether you have such friend or you and your friend share this kind of relationship. So, wish you find your true love too :) Good luck in your confession!

The dude on the right always purposely do something that I dislike and make me angry =.= The one in the middle is Corona, who I featured before in my blog. Left out one who absent the 4 kaki gathering. BOO HIM!!

Daniel's birthday

Celebrate friend's birthday is always a good excuse to dine together and have fun crazily for a reason. Again, we celebrated Daniel's birthday at a Nyonya cuisine restaurant. Coincidentally or purposely, I don't know.

Throughout the whole dining session, we were the only patrons of the night. We acted as though we booked the venue to have the mini celebration over there, quite enjoyable.

Sambal lady fingers' - Not bad but it is slightly oily.

Ayam pongteh - It doesn't taste like those pongteh I ate, just normal gravy taste without the pongteh taste.

Otak-otak - I seriously refuse to take picture of this dish because of the bad presentation. I know it's only two pieces of otak-otak but at least put a piece of banana leave below for decoration or banana leave inspired plate perhaps?

Oh yeah, this tofu is nice. Who dislikes to eat green pepper/capsicum like Shin Chan? Definitely not me 'cause I can even eat it raw.

This fried squid fritters was the most popular dish for that night. Everyone treated it like a snack and enjoyed chewing it.

A nyonya cendol with typical homemade cendol presentation, don't you agree with me?? RM2.50 for a small and not so nice cendol, not worth it. That's what my friend told me because I didn't eat this.

We custom made the cupcakes to substitute those traditional round birthday cake. Nerdy smurf, beer and iPhone, 3 things that match him best. Don't get me wrong, for the Nerdy Smurf only the black frame glasses is accurate. XD

My piece of advice, please don't drink alcoholic drinks so often. Definitely could not use it to replace drinking water. Seriously, drink too much of alcoholic drink is not good for your body. You may drink it like once in a while occasionally but not always.

I look like a pregnant woman in that 'LAND' picture so I pressed my top down in 'LANE'. So the letters in DANIEL can actually be separated and make into more words. Forms words from word is one of the childhood games that I miss.

Our night did not end just like this. Followed by another round at a retro kind of coffee house at Melakaraya. True or dare ?! The questions they asked me and the way they asked me were like very keen to introduce any guys to me. I gave a few requirements since they asked for. I don't care if you are joking or seriously, please introduce only quality guys.

For the dare's part, was the first time seeing guys kissing right in front of me. OK, just lips with lips are pretty disgusting. The punishment was considered as minor since they have bromance. #ewwwww

5 years ago, I bought this Chinese novel after recommended by a friend. Sadly, the book is now the asset of my sister's friend, however an asset written off for me. It is a Chinese novel directed movie, based on the real story of the author, Giddens who is also the director of this movie. This movie is about the story of their high school and a girl they like. A cute, fair, pretty, smart and hard working girl, always the most popular figure in the class or even in the school.

This is the scene where he passed his text book to the girl, shen jia yi and got punished by the teacher on her behalf. So, is this a type of caring?

That's the benefit for being taller than a girl, at least you win in this situation.

Sending off the girl to another district/state to further studies in university at the train station. He gave her self-drawn t-shirt as farewell present. Oh lovely~

Me: ... (speechless)

Somehow I think it's better to tell that person you like him/her and see what answer will you get. You wouldn't know the exact answer not until you ask right in the face. If you get rejected, you know you have tried, isn't that so? Don't let yourself regret~~

I watched this movie twice in the cinema and I still laughed!! During my middle school, male is an alien in my school 'cause I was studying in a girls' school. I only experienced something similar in my elementary school. However, my high school's times were still great and awesome!!

Yeah, we finally went to taste famous Sarawak laksa. This is beef laksa.

I don't take beef so the only choice left was chicken laksa. The gravy is different from the Johor laksa, Penang Asam laksa and baba laksa. It isn't spicy but slightly sweet.

We went to visit a free entrance museum that displays those old days machines, books and stuffs. Nothing much to see there and I don't know what's the building too. haha Before moving on to our destination, we had small bites at food court first.

Kelyn said this is a must try food so I tried. Gong pia with minced meat inside..the buns were deep fried so very crunchy and nice. I reckon this as a very nice snack for high tea.

This is a mixed beverage which contains coconut juice + coconut flesh + sugarcane juice. I didn't drink it but it should be quite quenching.

We started our journey after the little break and arrived at our destination roughly an hour later. It was a bright sunny day and none of us brought umbrella with us. So sad.

A friend told me that the ticket for this music festival is getting more expensive year by year. Too bad I missed it.

There were 5 of us, number of tickets are correct so let's go in and explore meanwhile sunbathing. =.= I don't remember the entrance fee, should be RM15 if you have student card.

I actually quite fancy this kind of signboard, it looks pretty nice, isn't it? At least it doesn't look boring.

It is a bamboo bridge. I think I rant from the beginning till ending. Somehow it is nice to experience it once.

Kelyn asked me to wear maxi dress on that day so we wore. It's not easy to climb all those stairs with long dress. There're few times I almost tripped myself.

It's time for the cultural show, sit back and enjoy since outside was raining. There's a group of Korean ajooma and ajussi sitting behind us. How I wish I could communicate with them and asked them whether I could share a umbrella with one of them. That's after the show ended and we'd to leave.

We went to Sushi King bonanza for dinner. Hmmm....long queue as expected. The sushi are not fresh and very limited choices, disappointment.

Finally, Sarawak Kolo Mee and a cup of coffee to end my day at Kuching. Kelyn sent me to airport after the breakfast. THANK YOU so much to Kelyn and the family~~ I can tell everyone I've been to Borneo, no longer a suagu.. XD

This picture shows you the time me and my fellow coursemates spent together. We have lesser time to be together as days go by, so cherish it!!

Mods cafe is a vintage old skool decorated cafe and every corner is well decorated with an item that gives bonus mark to the interior. It's really relaxing to sip the coffee and enjoy the home made cakes prepared by the boss.

The equipment and ingredients are on the car. FYI, the car has road tax which means the boss could do mobile selling at wherever he stops, isn't that cool?

The Adventures of Tintin : Secret of the Unicorn

I'd never read the books of Tintin neither the cartoon on tv or anything

somehow the trailer attracted me so I went

Tintin is a reported that helps in resolving many cases with the police or inter pole. A ship model caught his eyes and he bought it back. It has the secret scroll hidden in part of the ship model. There's where how the movie started then. Tintin has a white dog named Snowy.

He was kidnapped to the Haddock's ship. I like how the Haddock tell the stories about the battle between Sir Francis and Red Rackham on the ship. The animation makes every character looks so real, that's awesome!! I love the part where the Captain Haddock set up a fire on the boat in the middle of the sea.

Thomson and Thompson remind me of the twin in Alice in wonderland, where they love to argue or to speak the same thing. They are cute inter pole but a bit dumb. LOL

Mr. Silk is the pick pocket who is a purse/wallet maniac. He finds all little tiny coin purse or wallet very lovely, can't help it but to pick pocket from others to make it as his collection. After that, he would arrange every purse alphabetically according to the purse's owner's name. However, he didn't know use or take any valuable items inside the purse. He simply can't resist the temptation of the purse, that's weird.

I think there would be part 2 after this since Tintin and Captain Haddock found another map for the hidden wealth. After all, it's a nice movie though I had night mare dog bit my hands madly after watching this movie. I am currently watching the anime, One Piece so quite interested on marine or sailor or pirates. haha

BEACH~~ SUMMER !!! That's what came into my mind when I was watching this movie - Love You You.

This movie is some sort like a continuation of previous Summer More More Tea taken at Pulau Redang. However, this time they changed the location to Lang Tengah, another beach nearby Redang Island. I have always wanted to visit either one, but no chance to do so. There are so many beautiful islands in Malaysia, let's go!!

Basically, no sparks between Eddie and Angelababy in the movie not until the diary revelation part. The story line of the movie is pretty common, no climax. I speak Malaysian Mandarin but still couldn't help to smirk when I heard it in the movie. My bad.

My friend can't get over the rapping part in the movie. Nasi Lemak and Satay!! Most likely only Malaysians and Singaporeans could understand the rap. However, it's actually promoting Malaysia's local cuisine. For the moment, our jokes in the gang are all food based. LOL The wedding hall above the sea is nice.

I am not her fans but I wish to be as slim like her. It's good to be slim, even better if you eat a lot yet still remain the slim figure. It's a forever battle with the body fats. She is playing the role of Xia Mi who left only 30% hearing ability, almost deaf. Therefore, she puts on headphone most of the time so people won't talk to her. It reminds me of one Korean drama.

Kuching City Day Tour

My first night at Kuching was pretty cooling so I was fully charged for the second day. Let's get started with breakfast, the most important meal for a day.

[ LIFE CAFE ]

Life Cafe has 3 shops at Kuching but only 1 branch at Peninsular Malaysia.
It's at Sutera, Skudai, Johor.

I like green tea but now I prefer red tea. =D

Mild spicy noodle, quite oily.
I can't eat something hot or spicy or both, my nose will automatic generate mucus like flu.
How to cure this? I am sick of it.

Yaya, he is the James Brooke you saw in history text book.

Iced orange juice is refreshing on hot sunny day.

It's an open air cafe so only fans available even if you can't stand the heat.

Only us are the Malaysian patrons where others are Caucasians.

I like the decoration items at the cafe. It has the aborigine's styles.

Since don't know when I have a habit to buy a magnet for the fridge.

It's a free entrance Chinese History Museum. All displayed items are donated by the Chinese.
There's bilingual video showing how the Chinese came here in those days.
It's located just beside James Brooke Bistro & Cafe at Waterfront, very easy to locate it.

We are not supposed to take pictures in the museum. I hid my camera and took mobile out.

Oh yeah we had seafood for dinner on second day which I longing for. It's a must to have a seafood meal if you visit Kuching. Why? No idea.

It may look like worm but it is bamboo clam.
Fried with curry powder makes it heavenly tasty. Very nice.
Shells are removed so no worries.

This is the famous local dish of Sarawak, fried midin ( jungle fern).
It's nice so you gotta try this.

I ate only the clamp, really troublesome.
They didn't really smash the shell for us and no clip is provided.

Deep fried shrimps. I tried what my ex-colleague taught me, eat the shrimp with its shell.
oh yeah, I tried eating one with shell and the rest I ate I removed the shells.

That's the end of my second day of Kuching trip. Spend holiday there and you will think everything goes slowly, not rushing, very relaxing. A little regret of the day is couldn't get to eat the Korean ice-cream.

Tomorrow is a luxury you can't afford ! Hey, I like this quote. What would you do if you have only 25 years to spend on the earth? You need to work to earn extra time to live on but living cost is increasing. Poor ones die faster whereby the rich men live for century enjoying their luxuries. Everyone stops aging on the age of 25 so you may look young forever.

It's a pretty fresh concept in presenting men's life time, good imagination. There's one old man in his 60x or 70s walking out of the cinema in the middle of the movie, he said something before he left. He said loudly, ''what the fuck is this?'' then he left furiously. Everyone was distracted by him. So, what actually makes him so angry? Maybe he finds the life time clock rather ridiculous.

He is the time keeper, a chief cop in the movie. I personally think that he is quite pitiful, haha. His time ran out before he could bring the criminals back. That's sad.

They are the leads, Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried. She has longer hair style with different hair colour here.

I actually prefer her hair style and outfit in the movie. She looks cool~!!

By the way, she is so slim!! Her legs are slim and long, distraction. haha We were impressed by her ability to run in super high heels. It isn't easy to run wearing heels. How to be this slim??

It's really sad to see your loved ones to collapse right in front of your eyes when they have no more time left. Time is money so do spend it wisely. =D

Last day of Oktoberfest so buy 1 free 1 was still available.
Some of us arrived late and those who went there early had bottomed up 1 barrel of Starker.

It's Halloween, the crew did some efforts in fitting into this festive.
The crew was standing right behind us secretly and luckily I didn't scream when I turned to the back.

Chocolate finally showed up after keeping him in my bag for so long. That's his first visit to Borneo too, must look see look see.

I must take picture with the cat's statue since I was there, my special request to my friend. It's at roadside so quite awkward to take picture there.However, in the end, I still took picture with it. oh yeah!! This is the biggest cat statue in town.

The sun sets earlier at Borneo so I got hungry when the sky turned dark. We had dinner at a very nice restaurant where the building used to be old court house. The ambiance is pretty nice, suitable for couple. Couples at Kuching, go there for a date!! haha

The menu is written on the blackboard for you to see, lower price range than the a la carte given to you on the table. That a la carte belongs to Magenta restaurant but both restaurant are under the same boss.

There's where we sat with a cup of candle light. No air-con at the restaurant so it's not that cooling.

1911 is Jackie Chan's 100th movie so must watch it in cinema. It's a movie about the revolution of China during 1911. Mr. Sun Yat-sen wanted a democratic country.

Jackie Chan and Li Bingbing acted as a couple in the movie. It did not show how they fell in love, hmmm.

This man really resembles the actual Sun Yat Sen. Therefore, he always acted as Mr. Sun.

She acted as the last Empress Dowager of China. Few parts of her acting I don't quite understand. Why suddenly cry and angry? hmmm

Jaycee Chan, Jackie Chan's son has a part in 1911 too. I think he acted as a commander too.

Hu ge showed up in the movie at the beginning, as a member of the revolution. He is still handsome with black face. woow~

I have no idea what to comment about the movie since I don't know which part of the movie is created and not from the history. However, I did enjoy watching the movie in the cinema.

I asked Kelyn whether she could bring me around at Kuching if I visit, immediately she answered SURE!! She informed me when there's a promotion for air tickets and I bought.

This is my very first time flying alone and the first time flying from Senai Airport too. I checked in and waited at the gate alone excitedly. The airport wifi doesn't allow me to access to Facebook and Twitter so I only managed to use Whats app.

Flying alone was full with excitement like what my friend told me. As usual, I dig out the sky shopping catalogue and magazine to kill my time. Yawnss...nothing is nice. The man sat on my right just couldn't stop talking throughout the whole journey. The plane landed at Kuching International Airport 10 minutes earlier than estimated time. I wanted to do shopping before I do clearance but I gave up.

Kawan picked me up at airport then we went for lunch. It was a Sunday so most of the stalls were closed. Thankfully, I still tried a few famous dishes of Kuching.

Kuey Chap that can only be found at Kuching, if not mistaken. The mee is like our peninsular's mihun kuey where the soup tastes like our kuey tiaw kia with the taste of herbs.

Tomato fried kuey tiaw is really nice, the gravy is sweet because of tomato. You gotta try this if you visit this city. It's different from Penang's dried friedy kuey tiaw. This is rather special that you can find it nowhere.

I hardly see people put small red beans in ABC ais kacang, normally the red kidney beans. However, I prefer small red beans though.

They call this bowl of ice as 'Matterhorn', how does it get its name? Beats me. haha It is very sweet, taste like those tin longan sugar water. The best things in this bowl of ice are those jelly and cendol!! So chewy ~

Give you a close up of the jelly. I was full and too tired of biting the jelly then I left a quarter in the bowl. Now I regretted, I want those jelly!!

That's the picture taken in her room after I landed my feet at Borneo. Rest and get ready for the dinner later. The night is still young =D

The Peak, Hong Kong

Can't think of what to eat so we went to the Toast Box for typical Malaysian and Singaporean breakfast. I was so happy to see familiar looking bread at BreadTalk and familiar dishes on the menu.

Half-boiled eggs with a little soy sauce and pepper make the best breakfast in the world. lol

A bowl of laksa lightens your mood in the morning but not to your wallet. The price range here in Hong Kong is higher than M'sia and S'pore Toast box.

After breakfast, let's move on to Mong Kok - Women's street again, this time with papa and mama along. No purchase is made except FOOD.

Hui Lau Shan is famous for its mango dessert. You would see it in everywhere of HK.

The night activity was visiting the peak and putting the whole Hong Kong night scene into our eyes. The scenery is really nice and you would fall in love with it. We didn't get to watch the musical lighting performance or something.

We spent an hour in this Disney merchandise store at the airport. This Duffy looks so cute.

I didn't eat much for breakfast so I followed papa to the SQ waiting lounge for business class, first class and Krisflyer gold card holders. The lounge looks so posh, equipped with so many iMac and free internet. Another side the lighting is dim for you to rest and drink, everything is provided. The last part is the place for you to dine in buffet style. Basically I took fried dumpling, siew mai, sandwich, tomato juice. I even ordered a bowl of Hong Kong style wanton mee soup. Lastly, my dessert is Haagen Dazs cookies and cream ice-cream. Everything is free!! That's my first time entering into the lounge so I sound like a bumpkin. Finish eating and it's time for boarding.

Look at my expression! We waited in the stuffy cabin for almost 2 hours then only they finally announced the plane is not suitable for flying. They shouldn't have let the passengers to board the plane in the first place. To entertain us while waiting, they distributed hot towel, headphone, menu and beverages. There's Bridesmaids in the movie list but I didn't get to watch it. =(

Coming out from the plane and we were like those war refugees don't know what to do. The airport crews didn't really care about us unless you confront them in fierce tone. Singapore Airlines issued a notice saying that any costs on meals and accommodation will be on its bill. However, I have no idea about the progress of this issue. In the end, we flew back in Hong Kong airlines. It's not the big plane like SQ and no entertainment on board. The meal is not nice too. How I wish I could fly back with SQ.

That's the end of my Macau-HK trip. It's an awesome family trip though the ending is a bit not happy.

I google about this movie and the comments for this movie are pretty bad, negative. Seriously this movie is like teaching you to sleep with as many guys as you want even if only one night stand. pffttt

It is mentioned in the movie that decent guys do mind about the number of guys the girlfriends had slept with. Eh hello, decent women lagi mind, OK!? Who wants a playboy that flirts and sweet talk with every girl. =.=

Roost Cafe

I have always wanted to dine at Roost Cafe and finally I went. The interior of this cafe is super old skool, pretty dim inside with a beam of yellow lighting.

That's my farewell present from my fellow colleagues. Those seniors seriously treated me very good, we are friends. Thank you for bringing me to the shop and let me choose the bag I prefer. At first I said, you had already treated me a meal, that's more than enough (because the bag is not cheap). But one of them said, money is not a problem, you don't have to worry. Not everyone who leaves the office gets a bag from the seniors, I am so proud. haha I had one farewell dinner with the seniors and one farewell luncheon with the whole office. THANK YOU!! (I hope it's not to late to show my gratitude)

Chicken whole leg fried rice. The texture of the meat is a bit hard and not nice according to my friend's opinion.

Mushrooms and garlic pasta. Super oily, not nice!!

Look at the cup, isn't it special? I don't believe pasta and cappuccino cannot be put into my stomach at the same time so I tried again this time and it's fine.

The price is quite reasonable just that the food is not that nice. The waiter doesn't seem like understand our words, both English and Malay. Of course, we didn't try speaking in Mandarin since he's not a Chinese. That's my comment. You may visit it at Jalan Dhoby, Johor Bahru if you wish to try it out.

We went back to the same restaurant for our breakfast. Hmmm a bit disappointed with the dim sum, not that nice like previous two restaurants. We actually were quite frightened of having dim sum after eating it for 3 days continuously.

We followed the Hong Kong's style, keep to the right instead of left. Brother did not use the travelator so he's the photographer.

Finally we had reached the destination after travelling on the train for almost an hour.

Let's go to Ngong Ping cable car!! We spent another hour queuing up to buy the cable car tickets and another 30 minutes to get on the cable car. People mountain people sea, you know ?!

Hugging papa is always nice. He and his big stomach. XD

He waved to us. They didn't take the cable car but walked there. It takes 20 minutes to reach the place by travelling on a cable car.

I can't imagine if I really go bald and I would look this scary. It is better to have my long messy hair stick on my head.

We had our lunch at the first restaurant after coming out from the station. I always love western food. Cheese!

I had this samgyetang at City Gate's mall's food republic. My advice is do not buy from this stall, it doesn't taste nice. Do not miss out this mall because it is full with many branded's outlets like Burberry, Coach, Guess and others. But of course, you don't expect the price to be real low too.

I like the mirror in the bathroom. You don't have to worry how does your hair look like at your back, the mirror is really helpful. I give you 5 stars for the bathroom. LOL

I love this picture very much.

Most of the time words from kids can warm your heart. A hug from them make you feel great. My niece gave me a big bear hug and said, J1 wo ai ni (I love you) out of a sudden. I am very good with this niece but I didn't know she loves me this much. haha The hug and the words melt my heart. However, she pleased me with white lies. She said I am prettier than an actress on the TV.

Me:Hey is xxxx pretty? *pointing to the TV* (She's a hard core fans of dramas)

Niece: No lah..not pretty *turned and looked at me* you are even prettier than her

Me: O.O sure not?

She then pulled me to the room and said wanna play with me. Her mother has one unwanted mobile phone without sim card and now is hers. She was so enthusiastic to take pictures of everyone, snapping here and there. This little girl might be small and young but she is really filial.

Niece: Popo, have you taken the kuih?

Popo: Yaya, I took.

Niece: You take one more lah, later night time hungry can eat.

If you are the grandma, would you be delighted by the words? She took photo of her grandpa and showed it to me then said, see grandpa so stylo. =) She is only Primary 1 and she gives herself so much of stress in studies. Good luck to you my little girl, your efforts would be paid off.

We took a taxi from the ferry pier to the hotel, a 5 minutes' journey. The taxi driver is a Indonesian-Chinese and he spoke a sentence of Malay to us before we got down. We passed by a shop at Macau and the seller greeted us, ''Selamat Datang''. Obviously we would turned and looked at him, and he said ''Amoi cantik''. Well, we continued walking and ignored him. That's bad.

It is Prudential Hotel located at Jordan MTR station linked with one shopping mall below. I like this hotel's service, they are polite, friendly and helpful. It's 2 stations away from Mong Kong only.

The first thing we did after check-in hotel was to look for food and we found this restaurant still serving dim sum high tea. It was already nearly 4pm and the restaurant was crowded. The picture above is pumpkin dunno what, quite chewy and tasty.

The chicken feet look tasty but too bad, I don't eat.

Walked around that area, Crocodile was having big sales. We walked out with big grins =) I didn't buy any apparel but the salespeople there are handsome so I have big grin too. haha

That's McDonald's pork and egg burger for bro since he didn't follow us for high tea. I didn't try it so no idea how's the taste.

We had something good for dinner because it was jiejie's birthday. It's second time to celebrate our family's member's birthday at overseas.

It's a must to try brewed soup in Hong Kong since Hong Kong people love to drink soups so much. 6 of us with 5 bowls of rice but I ate almost 2 bowls of rice. In fact, I was the one didn't order any rice. We wandering around the street after makan. Hmmm..we sneaked to Mong Kok - Women's street / Sneakers' street after papa and mama went back to hotel room.

My first visit was 5 years ago so I don't have much memory left there. Nike, Puma, Adidas and other brands are every way along the street. Every foot step has one of those brands, just like Sasa and Bonjour (another shop similar to Sasa, famous in HK).

OK, I admit I have no idea what's the thing is called but it is nice. hahaha The stall is selling smelly bean curd too. I didn't buy it since I cannot even stand the smell. ewww

Tune in my favourite radio station and sipping the coffee, I shall blog about the last part of Macau trip.

That's my breakfast on that day, Portuguese egg tart. It is still tasty though bought it overnight. Thanks to jiejie to make me a cup of vitamin C drink for me in that morning. I fell sick in my last family and spread the germs to the rest of them. haha But not this time, it's summer and not winter.

See my big square face with the mouth then you should know I love that tart. Thanks to the sunlight made me looked fair here but flaws are obvious.

Jiejie brought us to this restaurant, Wong Chi Kei. It is famous so you gotta be early. We saw queue waiting for seats after we were done with our meals.

The background is dunno what mee, the left picture is soup wanton mee and right bottom is dry wanton mee.

Everyone knows Macau is famous for its pork rib burger (ju pa bao) so I ordered one. The one is served in Malaysia's char chan teng is like those burgers selling in fast food restaurants. Therefore, I actually expected something like that since I never ate the authentic pork rib burger before.

The first bite made me go =.= Why does it taste so weird? In the end I ate only half of it and gave it to my bro. I don't understand why it is famous. Maybe just simply doesn't suit my taste. I miss those dim sum...sobs

SEE !! I can be sporty too. The last time I played volleyball was in PLKN camp. So, it was 4 years ago.

I think my sis must have thought she was in Thai with that gesture.

We went into Koi Kei the hand gifts shop for the air-con. OK, that's only part of the reason. It's seriously hot and humid at outdoor.

Are you a fan of bak gua? There are 12 flavors of bak gua for you to choose. I have no idea which one did I try but it is spicy and hard.

Oh yeah...I have reached The Ruins of St. Paul...welcome to 大三巴牌坊...I actually like that '38'..LOL

It's time for lunch or tea time. This shop is famous for its stew milk so the whole shop is full with patrons. You gotta wait and the seats are very near and limited space. If you occupy a seat without spending, you gotta pay macau dollar 8. Though it's still cheaper than order any food or drink but it's not good to do so right?

Look at the food price list, the prices are quite reasonable.

The iced stew milk with red beans. It is served in cold and hot, you may choose your preference. I don't like milk so I ate only few bites then passed it to others again.

I love this !!! I seriously do, very nice french toast.

The significant dish of Macau/Hongkong thus no way to miss it and back to Malaysia. Polo bun ♥

This pork chop burger looks better but I didn't try it due to the trauma from the breakfast's pork rib burger. It looks nice, isn't it?

Spot the signboard of the hotel that I stayed in Macau. It's located at a very strategic place. It's near to 7-eleven and McDonald's.

Took a shuttle from the hotel and arrived the ferry quay. Kowlooooon kowloon =)

YES...Chocolate follows me to everywhere, he is quite happy...MOP 173 per way from Macau to Kowloon, roughly RM80 per ticket. It's a almost 2 hours journey so I took a nap on the ferry.

It was raining so when the wave was huge the passengers went WOOOOOOW..I opened my eyes to see what happened and continued my nap with the Korean songs in my ears.

That's the bridge in Macau. Bye bye Macau, I shall see you again if there is any chance. =D

As a Malaysian, it is impossible that you'd never heard of his name. He is the richest man in Malaysia and South East Asia. You might not heard of him but you should know about the sugar that you consume or the Shangri-La hotel.

My friend introduced this video to me and seriously I have learnt a lot. He and I share the same hometown!! We are both anak Johor. He is already 87 years old but he looks younger than his age, isn't he? I remember last time during primary school, Mr. Kuok's brother, Mr. Philip Kuok would attend almost all the big events and gave speech. He was one of the directors.

Entrepreneur needs to be brave and innovative. You need hard work and guts behind all your success. Every family needs at least a packet of sugar as it is a necessity. Though he doesn't like the name but still I wanna say, I admire you Sugar King. =)

I randomly clicked and watched this movie. After watching for 10-15 minutes, a figure appeared in the movie surprised me. She is Rainie Yang!!! I didn't even know she had filmed this movie like 10 years ago. She looks so young and cute back then. It is a 1 hour and 30 minutes movie.

Overall the movie is just normal Hong Kong movie talking about the relationship between Rainie and the guy. After that, her elder sister had a crush with the guy, so does the guy. The movie ended in a very normal way but it's a happy ending.

Macau Part 2

Overly famished, we walked the way to 7-eleven to search for some light food to fill our stomachs. This curry fish balls noodle is really nice, at least I like it. I always like to visit the convenient store in other countries, you can find many different food and beverages.

All these cakes tasted the same but I kind of like it. It is smooth and fluffy unlike the one you get in Malaysia's 7-eleven.

Yoohoo, hopped onto the shuttle bus in front of the hotel and heading to the Galaxy casino now. I smell $$$

One of the good things in Macau is the shuttle bus. Casino owners are brilliant, they provide you the transport so you have no other trouble in getting to the casino.

This is the cash card for you to buy food at the food court. You need 1 to buy food, HKD100 per card. Can't finish the cash in it? Redeem the remaining cash at the counter after your meal.

Grabbed this guide at the hotel lobby just for fun. It gives you a very detailed tourist spots and a little history of the place.

Now let's move on to Venetian by shuttle bus. The bus is so comfortable till I almost fell asleep. For those who had watched the Korean drama, the flower boys would know this place where Goo Jun Pyo and Geum Jan Di met up.

Can't go to the real Venice so I came here. Sorry, I can't give you the best view of the building. But trust me, it isn't that pretty like you saw it on TV.

This is a poster outside of Sasa. Hmmm...Sasa is everywhere in Macau. Every few steps you can see a Sasa shop. It's pretty crazy.

Let you peek into the Venetian casino. They allow you to view, it's alright, they got nothing to lose after all. There are 40 casinos in Macau. You may enter all casino as you like and they don't check on your ID.

It's time to have a break at Maxim's. The beverages are not cheap so I shared what they ordered since the green tea is pretty big cup of it.

This is papa's mocha or cappucino or something that contained caffeine. It is pretty bitter because I drank it without any sugar added.

That guy has been eyeing on us since he passed by there and bought the gelato. I bet he is either Malaysian or Singaporean. I can hear our accent everywhere in Macau, no kidding.

Enjoy your meal, coffee, ice-cream or whatever, the live band playing soothing song always melt your heart. So relaxing~

Stop mesmerized by the unrealistic Venetian. The moment you stepped into Venetian, everything is like a dream. It's time to go back. But before that, move on to Grand Lisboa.

If you watched Johnny English Reborn, you will find this building very familiar. The Grand Lisboa casino where the fella told English '' You grandmother is sick''. Remember it now ?!

I don't think you could see my face. haha

After that we walked back to our hotel room. Before that I bought a cup of coke from McD to quench my thirst. Why am I always short of water during trip??

Crazy little thing called love

I read the review of this movie few months ago on Taiwan yahoo but never take initiative to find this movie and watch. Thanks to my friend gave me the source!! I saw many friends posted video on facebook saying that this movie is seriously so nice. It is a Thai movie.

It is all started with these 4 juniors from Form 2 and the girl, Nam, first from the right likes a senior, Chone. She tried all her best to get attention from the senior including changing her image.

She was just a normal girl with tan skin, short hair and wearing glasses. It is less possible for a handsome senior to fall onto. However, she tried every way to talk to the senior and get nearer to him.

After trying so hard, she became prettier and gain popularity in the school. Her result is also good.

This is the best friend of Chone who noticed Nam at the stage play of Snow White. He took a step before Chone could confess his love to Nam. However, she doesn't like him. But due to his selfishness, Nam and Chone couldn't get together as well. (Not till the end)

She agreed to all outings invited the the fake bf just to get nearer to Chone because he will be there. Little did she knew that, he was there because of her too.

He is good in photography and took many photos of her secretly. He even developed the photos and made into a book by himself. So sweet huh? But it is scary if that fella is a pervert and you don't like him at all. Therefore the sweetness only applies to person that you like. XD

Finally she took the courage to confess her love to the senior but the senior lied that he was already with someone. He cares about the brotherhood with his friend. Nam fell into the swimming pool after knowing the truth, that is even heartbreaking.

This is the ending part of the movie. I guess it makes all the audience all HURRAY !!! Finally they get together. Don't you think the guy is handsome and the girl is pretty??? I wanna go THAILAND !!!!!

While writing this post, I just got the news my friend has changed her status from 'single' to 'in a relationship'. Oh dear, so happy for her. Everything needs courage to take the first step. Bravo!!

Don't ask me when is mine 'cause I haven't met one. Congrats to my friend =D

It is a must to watch this movie in the cinema to show your support to local Chinese movie production. Before watching it, I have already read some comments regarding this movie and watched some videos posted by Namewee.

The outfit of Karen Kong in this cinema looks quite cute, isn't she?

How to say? This movie is so typical Malaysian but I kind of like it. Something shown in the movie are quite true.

Internet connection in Malaysia isn't fast and sometimes bad.
Power failure and water rationing without notice. If there is any notice, the date might be a prank.
Chinese hawkers can't do business at any random roadside, there are eyes on you.
Majority dark skinned foreign workers are known as Bangla even if they are not.

Above are the 4 main points I could remember from the movie. Besides that, there is a parody of the Dr. Chua's sex video in the movie. At the end, there's a cooking competition between China and Malaysia's contestants. He even make a topic of it linked it to badminton. Namewee posted Dato Lee went to watch this move too, so I wonder did he enjoy that part? =D

Oh, I love this last part of his cooking training with the Indian. Seriously, Indians love to hide behind the tree and flower bushes like the Bollywood movie huh? I don't even expect Namewee would speak Hainanese in the movie. The guy spoke Indian language and he replied in Hainanese language, I bet only a few audiences could understand without reading the subtitles given. There are few seconds the Indian spoke Hainanese too but I can't remember what he said.

We went to a mamak for supper after the movie. The waiter spoke to me in Indian and there's a moment I wanted to speak Hainanese to him. I seriously do but I didn't. The thing is because I would tend to mix Hokkien in my Hainese. hahaha

Did you watch the trip teaser video in previous post? I hope you did. Now, this is a more detail post about the trip. Let's go!!

This is my first time boarding from Changi buget terminal. There's only 1 McDonald's, 1 restaurant and a book store. We had our early breakfast at 4am. After check in, so regretted why didn't we know there's a Starbucks here. You may charge your mobile battery free of charge and surf the net too.

The first flying experience with Tiger airways was pretty nice. If the little brother behind did not make so much noise and disturbed my sleep, I guess it would be nicer. I have a habit of flipping through the shopping catalog and see any worthwhile bargain.

Slept all the way and I arrived at MACAU!! *Portuguese egg tarts I am coming*

It was still morning after placing our luggage at hotel lobby. We went to a restaurant at the Portuguese square (not sure about the name) for our dim sum breakfast. The service attitude of the crew really horrible, poor serving attitude yet she could survive. However, she did not spoil our mood for breakfast. The food served is really nice.

The swirl custard bun, egg tarts, har gao, fried radish cake, xiaolongbao and many more. Everything is so nice. They serve one by one so you might be tired of waiting.

Thinking of it again made me drools. It is soft and nice.

The har gao has 2 fresh shrimps inside, you can taste the freshness and the bouncy feel when you bite it. my-oh-my !!! The shrimp goes doi doi doi...

See the soup from the xiaolongbao, that is why it is famous. I have been reducing my consumption on pork butt I couldn't resist on this. Slurrrp the soup!!

Look for the Tai Pai chinese restaurant on the 2nd floor if you wish to try on this. You may try it but must be able to endure with their serving attitude. Really freak you out.

Filling the stomach so it's time to do some shopping at the area. We bought dresses for miss cutie Angeline.

That's our hotel room. Saw the tv? I watched the liver soccer match here at night, Chelsea versus dunno which team. Chelsea won . =)

Enough of rest so move on to the Macau Tower. We planned to walk there but we gave up in the middle 'cause it was too hot. We hopped on a public bus then. Tickets bought and took the lift up to 58th floor. The lift goes 5 metres per second and we need only 30+ seconds to reach.

HAHAHAHAHA I know I am the most suitable person in making that pose. If you want that 5 apples, please pay around RM2000 and jump from the building.

My legs were like jelly when I stood there and looked down. I have no idea how strong is the glass so I sangat takut. No chance to go the Pearl Tower in Shanghai, finally I experienced it here.

We got the Macau under our feet. We stepped on you!!!! yoohooo~

Happy Malaysia's Day ~!! *blowing whistle..beeeee~~ beeee~~*

I just came back from Melaka. I found so many mistakes before and after the report submission, erm nothing can be done. Hopefully Mr. Gargamel shows mercy to me.

Speaking of this special public holidays, my university friends came to find me all the way from Pontian. I arrived first at the cinema and got a shock by the long queue for ticketing. Not knowing how, I joined the queue too. There's one lady with her son has no idea with the crowd and she was informed by the lady queuing behind her. Obviously, it's a family from Singapore!

Friends came and we decided to change venue for movie. Oh yeah, Today's mall was so empty and no queue at the ticket counter. We bought the tickets and went to the nearest Mcdonald's for lunch. I got another cutie smurf from Happy Meal again. Guess what?! There's a queue at the ticket counter after we got back to the cinema. Ah-ha, they must be from the previous venue that we went to.

Everyone knows him as Mr. Bean. He is Rowan Atkinson. In the cinema while waiting for the movie to start, my friend told me Mr. Bean is his childhood idol. I nearly ask him do you own his bear? LOL Facebook is showing the status you posted on last year's this date and I found out I am friend of this Mr. Bean's fan for a year. We know each other on this typical Malaysia's day, what a date.

The Royce, agent Johnny English's car is one of the highlights. It can only be voice controlled by Johnny. Everything on the car is a weapon.

This extraordinary electrical wheelchair is another highlight. I like how they name the difference of the speed on the controller : '' normal, fast, very fast, f fast " I think you know the F word.

The idea of flying helicopter using the normal car's road and turning at the roundabout made me go HAHAHAHA in the cinema. He used his brain to think and make things easier than the bad hat. I would reckon you to watch this comedy in the cinema as it is worthwhile. I laughed from the beginning till the end of the movie. There are few times I thought my jaw would not join back again.

After that, the friend brought us to a laksa stall behind the owner's house at Ulu Tiram. The portion of the laksa was just nice and it costs only at RM3 per bowl. Oh dear, where can you get a bowl of laksa at this price anymore? I didn't take any picture of it, might show it again if I visit there again. The only thing I don't like about the laksa is the smell of clams. They are raw siham!! ewwwww Btw, no coconut milk is added into the laksa, so it is healthier.

There's no way not to meet each other before the local universities resume their lessons. So we went shopping together as planned. We actually planned to go for a movie before the shopping but I woke up late and haven't had my lunch.

I picked Taste Bug's restaurant and cafe, branch at KSL city. The set lunch almost full die me =.=

Appetizer - Mushroom soup

Main course - Teriyaki fish with fried rice

The ice blended chocolate looks nice!! I love the whipped cream especially!!!

It is a wild mushrooms soup. This soup is seriously filling, I was full after drinking it. Om nom nom, I love it!!

If you think there's only a piece of fish in that size then you are super wrong. I was given TWO big pieces of dory fish. Surprisingly I didn't go =) but =S because I was full. However, I still threw them into my stomach. 30 minutes to finish a plate of rice considers as eating at super slow speed.

Deep fried mussels. I can smell the sea when it was served on the table. Maybe should try it on my next visit. I miss the mussels fried rice from Manhattan Fish Market. =)

The Smurfs

Have you smurf? Quickly step into the cinema and join Papa smurf and his kids for their adventure in New York city. It is a very cute movie. All smurfs got their names based on their personalities. So, I did a little test online and got my smurfy name. Eventually, I was a Sassafras Smurf !! Check yours here. Oh ya, the name wasn't created based on my personality. Now, I am gonna show you my very smurf personality. That's smurfy accurate!!

The wand that Garbagesmell...errr I mean Gargamel used in the movie actually reminded me of Voldemort. Do you know the linkage between them? By the way, they are not related except they know spells. The man played the role of Gargamel is even fantastic.

You know what? He looks like my audit lecturer !! I don't smurf, they look smurfy alike. I was like WOW when he appeared on the screen. Why Odile tried to seduce him?

I watched this movie with my smurf ex-colleagues and all of us enjoyed this movie. So cool, I have more friends now. Do I sound pathetic? I heard someone said '' I want to get a Smurf '' after the movie. There's a cart selling smurf plush toys but I don't think she buys it. haha Thinking of getting one from Mcdonald's Happy Meal.

Kota Iskandar, Johor

The new layout of blogger is pretty awesome, it looks more classy and professional. haha

By the way, this is a delayed post which should be posted 2 weeks earlier. I don't care, I still wanna write about it because it is a meaningful post. They have planned this trip for quite some time and we made it.

We started the beautiful sunny day with McDonald's breakfast. The breakfast was om-nom-nom delicious. After that, off we go to Kota Iskandar, Johor.

This is the complete group photo of the day. It would be nicer if all friends could make it on that day. xoxo

OK, they were showing the slow motion of running athlete from the beginning. For every step moved, they change the whole outfit, cool isn't it? haha

New character added in as the one blowing the gun. You see the gun is still up which means the athlete runs real fast.

This is a must-have props to create those romantic and beautiful scene for photography session. Somehow, it did not function well.

No idea the operation of this building but as you can see, the building is very Malaysia, isn't it so?

Ta-daa !! She is the organizer for this gathering and also the owner of the bubbles gun.

See how much the sun kissed us on that day. However, thank god that none of us had sun burnt =)

How is this blue snoopy? The pillow that I was hugging was a bear with its heart shaped eyes.

Alright, who says 2 friends must be in the same size ?? Can't you see how big size I am? hahaha

So, Corona do you like Snoopy as well? hehe I guess I know the answer from your expression..

Kota Iskandar is an administrative area for government and it has not fully developed yet so that place is rather silent. You may jump and scream as you like.

Never sit in front and made the mistake that I did if you do not have slim legs. I saw carrots !!

That's the end for our special girls' gathering at Kota Iskandar. It was really great to gather everyone and have a photography and gossip session. Everyone is now busying with own studies and work so hardly to meet each and everyone. I WANT MORE !!!!

Kukup Part 2

It's time to say goodbye to the lady boss. They had really prepared very nice meals for us. I actually didn't expect the bathroom would have water heater for us to shower. The only thing that freaks me out of the toilet was all dirt will be thrown directly into the sea/river. Quite ewww, isn't it?

There's no way to leave without any group photo, isn't it? We posed and posed and posed, there are a lot more funny photos but I picked these three.

Doo..Doo~~ We have our bags on and rode on the boat to Kelong. I don't feel safe to walk on those floating wood paths. Therefore, I was walking like an old lady without her tongkat, not stable.

It took me some courage to walk there and posed for photo. haha I don't really wanna swim with those fishes.

We were looking at how the fishes spit water up to shoot the anchovies into the water and eat it. I must salute their good eye sight.

Finish visiting and buying some local products, we went up to the quay to have our seafood luncheon feast.

Chili crab was the highlight of the day...

OK, they gave me a nice memory for this first Kukup trip. Thanks !! Let me conclude this post with 3 photos.

Kukup is nice fish village. You need to be careful walking on the road as motorbikes or bicycles might be coming from your front or back at no time. There are really big bungalows in the water or just normal 1 level houses. Their similarities are they will turn on lights to make their houses look really bright and nice, and they don't shut their doors. It's a tourist spot and in Malaysia yet they dare to open their doors widely regardless those doing business or not doing business. In a nut shell, it's worth to pay a visit to Kukup and experience something different from urban life.
